Kan Kan Studios is led by renowned artist and owner Julie Kanapaux. Her unique fusion of graphic and fine art has produced inspiring works that tie physical spaces together and promote creativity.
Kanapaux earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting with a Minor in Photography at Ringling College of Art and Design, where she was a Trustee Scholar and recipient of the Presidential Sculpture Award. She has created several public artworks including a multi-story mural titled Momentum for the Alfred R. Goldstein Library at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL (2017), and Beachcomber’s Sequence, in Pompano Beach, FL (2018). She has been included in more than 30 individual and group exhibitions.
Julie is publicly recognized as one of Sarasota’s top artists and has worked as an art consultant, graphic designer, illustrator. Currently, she serves as faculty at Ringling College of Art and Design and is also a member of the artist collective SARTQ.
