About Artist Julie Kanapaux


Kan Kan Studios, LLC is led by renowned artist and owner Julie Kanapaux. Julie’s unique fusion of fine and graphic art has enabled her to produce inspiring works that tie physical spaces together and promote creativity.

Kanapaux is an honors graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design, where she earned a Bachelors in Fine Art. She was also a Trustee Scholar and recipient of the school’s prestigious Presidential Sculpture Award.

Julie is publicly recognized as one of Sarasota’s top artists and has worked as an art consultant, graphic designer, illustrator and art instructor. She is also a member of the artist collective SARTQ. Through Kan Kan Studios, Julie creates custom artwork for public, residential and corporate spaces. Her multi-story mural Momentum was recently unveiled at the Alfred R. Goldstein Library at Ringling College.
